SAPA HIKE SHOES/CLOTHING

Postby pooh » Tue Jan 24, 2012 5:04 pm

I'm heading for the best of Vietnam tour end of January and was wondering what shoes to bring for the hike. I was originally thinking of bringing my heavy hiking boots, but am concerned about the weight and large space they occupy. I had also heard about people renting rubber boots as a better option. I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for either option. Also, what type of clothing do you guys recommend for end of January? Thanks in advance

Personally, I would suggest some comfortable running shoes, hiking boots tend to be heavy and hot and take up alot of space. Have you seen the suggested packing list on-line, perhaps this could help http://www.gadventures.com/trips/best-o ... at-to-take
