Visa's For DUEA East Africa Overland 2012

Hi,

I am booked on the East Africa Overland tour departing 10th July 2012 from Uganda.
Visa's....?
I am so confused re what I actually need on this tour.
Travel Agent suggests I get 3 visa's before i travel ie 1) Uganda 2) Tanzania 3) Kenya..
But i have read that getting a visa on arrival in Uganda gives me access to Tanzania & Kenya?
Happy to get the Visas needed, obviously, but not wanting to throw money down the drain,if I dont actually need to purchase 3 seperate ones..

Would appeciate any info or help with that if possible?

When I did DKNJ a couple years ago, we had to get a separate visa crossing from Kenya into Tanzania so I'm a little skeptical that Uganda's visa will apply to Kenya and Tanzania as well but there's really no need to get visas for Kenya or Tanzania ahead of time. Getting them at the border crossings is quite easy, especially for the experienced GAP CEOs.

Thanks for that...that has put my mind at rest then..
Will get my Visa for uganda in advance, and will get the others on the borders..
appreciate you taking the time to answer that for me..
it was the only thing i was a tad concerned about..

You will need a visa for each country...all are easy to get upon arrival. Just hand over $50USD (I heard Kenya's may have dropped in price).

I did get my Uganda one in advance for piece of mind, but accidentally ended up in the visa line at the airport...it's a pretty easy process.
