Inca Discovery Trip and Duffle bags carried by porters

In the inca discovery trip the duffle bags that the porters carry has to be no more than 6kg.
If one was to bring their own sleeping bag or rent one is the weight of this included in the 6kg total?

It was when I was there, whether it was your own or rented. It gets packed into your duffle so it makes sense. We weren't too close to our limit, you really only need a few things for the hike.
It was an awesome hike!
