AGE ON TOURS

Hey

I I am planning on doing a tour in February, probably to the middle east. I am 20 and was just wondering what the age groups were like on the tours. I know that YOLO are aimed at 18- 39 but does this mean that on the regular tours that everyone is above that age group?

Absolutely not, our regular tours have people of all ages on them. And in my opinion are a little more fun

I have had a variety of ages on all my GAP trips. The median age is usually mid-to-late 20s; I've usually been the eldest or near-eldest in my 40s but it all depends on the trip -- in Antarctica, I was on the younger half but that was an expensive trip.

Has anyone had any experiences with the Egypt and Jordan tours? Also do many people go solo our do most people go with people they know?

Couples average about 30-40% of the total group makeup on the tours we have taken.

I am going on the Essential India Tour on August 16th. I am sure I will be the oldest at 62 but I am very, very fit. I shall keep you posted as to the age spread when I arrive.
