Egypt Tourist Visa

I have checked different web sites and some say to purchase your travel visa for Egypt in Canada and some say to wait and get it at the airport in Cairo.
Any suggestions on which is the better way to go and how difficult is it to get the Visa in Cairo?
Please help!

I got mine in advance, but I've never heard of anybody having a problem getting it at the airport on arrival...it's also a lot cheaper to do it that way.

Who did you get your Visa through? I haven't had any luck getting one for under $100? Can you deal directily with the embassy?

I got mine @ Cairo airport $15 US

I can't remember what agency I used...it was a while ago....

I now feel more comfortable getting them on arrival if possible, and getting them without an agency.

Generally just google Egypt Embassy Canada and click around until you find the application.

Here's the one I found...but they don't seem to do a good job of providing instructions (photo size, mailing instructions etc).

Looks like it's $40 to get the visa, plus photos, plus secure postage to/from.

Thanks for all the info. I think I'll just chance it and get my Visa in Cairo. I'll have to change money then anyhow and from what I understand it's all at the same window.
Hopefully I won't have any problems!
