Time issue

Postby VeroCDO » Fri May 04, 2007 9:31 am

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the type of question that you might be able to answer for me on the forum...I do hope so!
But if not, can you tell me of any other way I may be able to get this information? I would really appreciate your help! Thankyou for your attention to my post.

Do G.A.P plan their trips bearing in mind the issue of time? For example, it seems that most people who travel with G.A.P are mainly from Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand- the average holiday allowance is probably 2-3 weeks- is there a link between this factor and the fact that many of your tours are able to be completed within this time allowance?

Otherwise who decides and how do you judge how long is the best time duration for a particular trip?

Hi Veronica,

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is that G.A.P offers a range of durations and that the adventures are designed with our travellers requirements in mind, one of which is average vacation time. Other factors, such as the travellers desired destination, their country of origin, international flight schedules, etc. all come into play.

I hope that helps you out.

Cheers,
Steve
