Thanks for the link. I remember that story as I was checking up on it while trying to plan my own climb, and kept thinking "what's the point of making an anchor do this without any training?" Not that it couldn't be done without training, greater things have certainly been accomplished, but they were certainly ill-prepared, and that's the real danger.
