If it's not related to travel it goes here.

I have yet to find a travel show host that holds my attention.

Anthony Bourdain is obnoxious. Samantha Brown is syrupy sweet. In general, the Travel Channel has veered off the concept of travel. Ghost hunters and people eating gross bugs?

When I do come across a decent PBS show, the funding dries up and it disappears rapidly. And, their photography appears faded and scratchy. Hard to produce quality on a shoestring budget.

It's not entirely a travel show but I'm enamored with An Idiot Abroad. They send a guy who has no desire to go anywhere 5 km from his house to go all the places and do all the things we want to.

So far my favourite moment is in the Peru episode. He's had it with chancing it on toilets and packs his own. I fell out of my chair laughing.

Scott and justin in Departures is my favorite. An idiot abroad is a close second, its absolutely hilarious.
