Hi All,

I just wondered whether any of you buy products/ingredients you have come across on your travels online? If so what websites do you recommend.

I like in the UK so sites that deliver to here would be ideal.

I loved Marie Sharp's hot sauces in Belize and Mrs Balls spicy chutneys in Southern Africa - when I got home I discovered both can be bought on Amazon.co.uk - yipee!

If you buy from abroad you will be stung with customs and excise payments - so beware!

I'm pretty sure that you'd be able to buy lots of international cuisine ingredients in the UK as it is such a multicultural country. If you go to a restauant and like a particular food, I'm sure that the owners would tell you where they source their products from.
My son-in-law is from Peru and his family have shipped over a few ingredients that we can't get here in Australia (manjar blanco - mmmmm!) but they didn't pay excise or duty, although they only send small quantities.
