Hey what's going on with the banner? I noticed it appears to be broken. You now get a blank box where it should indicate days till the next trip.

Looks ok today. Only 231 days until your trip to Botswana! Lots of time for Africa dreams.

Yup, it's back up. Must have been a glitch. It makes me nervous when I don't see my countdown...

Re: Gap banner on posts?
Have we lost our ability to put the banner or ticker for upcoming trips on our posts?
Can't seem to find it now.
I always liked knowing where people are going and where they've been.

I've got an APB out on the ticker. Hopefully, it will be found and be put back online shortly.

Re: Gap banner on posts?
I had to play around by trial-and-error with the country codes to fix my sig banner for my upcoming trips. If you already have a banner, you can fix your signature just by changing the country code and dates but if you don't have a banner, put this between image brackets (that is, between [ img ] and [ \img ] without the spaces between the brackets and the codes):
http: //www.gadventures.com/widgets/ticker/image?country=XX&departure_date=YYYY-MM-DD
XX is a numeric code for the country and may be 1-3 digits. Obviously, YYYY is the four digit year, MM is the two digit month and DD is the two digit day.
Take out the space between http: and //
I've found the following codes:
1 = Peru
2 = Ecuador
3 = Chile
4 = Argentina
5 = Brazil
6 = Venezuela
7 = Bolivia
8 = Uruguay
9 = Paraguay
10 = Guyana
15 = Antarctica
18 = Honduras
19 = Costa Rica
20 = Mexico
21 = Guatemala
22 = Belize
23 = Nicaragua

26 = None
