Transfering between airports in Buenos Aires

Famous for its enormous icebergs, towering glaciers and shimmering summer light, Antarctica offers some of the planet's most awe inspiring landscapes. The North Atlantic and Arctic evoke images of sparse snow covered lands, but when summer comes it bursts with colour and life.

Transfering between airports in Buenos Aires

Postby amyjomartin » Tue Nov 12, 2013 4:50 pm

This is the only part of my trip that I am scared of. I don't like dealing with demanding and greedy taxi drivers, but I'm not fluent enough in Spanish to be confident of taking a bus.
Anyone else flying into BA on 12/20 needing to change airports and want to share? :?
Some advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi there is a company that run transfers between the airports, Manuel Tienda León, You’ll see its stand immediately as you exit customs. Shuttles cost AR$40-45 one way, run every half hour

I agree with the above post. We used this service for transfer both on the way down and on the way back...they are very efficient and as was said, leave every 30 minutes. If you google them and get their web-site, you can even book in advance. The desk for them is near the baggage claim.

Just get local currency from an ATM. There are machines in the airport as well as downtown in Ushuaia.
