Wifi on Board Antarctica Cruise

Famous for its enormous icebergs, towering glaciers and shimmering summer light, Antarctica offers some of the planet's most awe inspiring landscapes. The North Atlantic and Arctic evoke images of sparse snow covered lands, but when summer comes it bursts with colour and life.

I was wondering if wifi was available on board the antarctica cruises? I'm a science teacher and would love to send video messages back to my students while I'm antarctica.

There is WiFi and data costs $130 for 100MB. If you buy smaller increments it costs more per MB.

It's extremely slow (think dial-up) so I don't think video updates are very practicable. We email out 15 second low-res videos to be posted on Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/g_msexpedition) so it is possible.

Photos maybe with some audio recording is probably more practical. Enjoy.
