Camping

Famous for its enormous icebergs, towering glaciers and shimmering summer light, Antarctica offers some of the planet's most awe inspiring landscapes. The North Atlantic and Arctic evoke images of sparse snow covered lands, but when summer comes it bursts with colour and life.

Camping

Postby world2c » Fri Aug 24, 2012 10:02 am

We have added the camping option on our November sailing. Has anyone done it? How good was the equipment provided? In particular, how were the tents, sleeping matts and sleeping bags? Anyone have any pictures that they can post of the camping?

It sounds like a great adventure!

Thanks, Don

The equipment was new and good. That being said, you still should bring warm clothes as some found it cool sleeping. For us there was only about five hours to sleep since we went on a hike that took us pass midnight and we left about 0630 hours.
