Problem with Forum?

Postby DanielBMe » Sun Feb 01, 2009 12:37 pm

I seem to be having problems accessing the forum in the last day or so. The pages don't load or take an extremely long time. Sometimes the page loads but everything is all off such as colours, fonts and alignment.

Everything was fine Friday...

Yes me too. Maybe they were working on the website.
Seems ok now though.

Although one problem that is still occuring - since the Jan upgrade, often my post doesnt upload so I have to do it again, even though it says post uploaded successfully. Have learnt to copy before I post each time so I can paste if it happens. Rather annoying!

Does anyone else have a problem accessing the New Member forum once logged in? I can read it just fine as a guest, once I log in it just disappears.

Strange indeed. We have verified this issue to exist and will look into correcting this asap....thanks for bringing it to our attention, as it is affecting at least one other forum as well.

Thanks for checking. Have you had any luck?

In the meantime, here's something else I noticed. I recently went over the 300 post threshold... and mysteriously went back down to 260-something. Which is a shame, if only because I wasted lots of time at work typing those extra posts!

After I complete a search and select a topic to read in that search, I try to press the back button to return to my search results. I always get an error page and have to enter the search again to progress to the next topic. It is very tedious to read all of the the topics in the search result.

BTW, as a new member, I am quite enjoying the topics and experience that people are so ready to pass on!

Thanks for the great forum... :D
