e-mail addresses for notification

I noticed that Wateringhole is using an old e-mail address to notify me when I have a private message. All my other correspondence with GAP is coming through the new e-mail address I created to separate out my travel stuff from my family stuff.

If Wateringhole is drawing from a different database -- why? How do I update it? The only e-mail address I can find in my profile is the one I thought I switched to.

I'd like to know that too! I changed my e-mail address and no longer have access to the old one. I had to e-mail GAP to get my address changed and now I don't get any notification of replies to topics I've posted in. I can't find any e-mail address in my profile and I've tried adding e-mail addresses to the various AOL, etc, fields but no luck.

Hey guys, please PM me the email address you'd like to use and I'll check that both profiles are in sync.

As to the "why"...it seems like there is a synchronization issue between profiles in the wateringhole and gapadventures.com. Each site uses different software, but we try to keep the login process the same. In doing so, some of your information changes aren't being reflected one way or the other. I'll start a support ticket for this issue, thanks for reporting it!

Sorry IncaTrail50, I've looked over all of your preferences and settings and it appears to be identical to ExplorerWannaBe, except for the email address of course. My only thought is that they might be going into your spam folder, perhaps?
