China - clothing and mosquito repellents in June

Ancient temples swallowed by the jungle, rice paddies, local markets, stunning beaches, fiery cuisine, smoking incense at the feet of a golden Buddha, and the friendliest locals around.

China - clothing and mosquito repellents in June

Hi everbody,

I will do the wild China Tour starting next week.

I read that you shouldn't take clothes with bright colours for the trip. I thought about taking white, black, grey and blue t-shirts (fast drying) and also some long-sleeves. Any experiences about what you really need at that time? We also go to Mount Emei and the Tiger Leaping Gorge.. Perhaps a fleece if it gets colder?

I also thought about taking a mosquito net for the nights. I looked at the hotels and it didn't seem like there are nets. I think especially in the south that would be a good option.

Looking forward to read about your experiences!
