essential china

Ancient temples swallowed by the jungle, rice paddies, local markets, stunning beaches, fiery cuisine, smoking incense at the feet of a golden Buddha, and the friendliest locals around.

essential china

Postby lulub » Mon Feb 18, 2013 10:52 pm

Hello,

I'm interested in travelling in China, more specifically in Essential China tour. I can deal with a lot of things but I have one phobia: rats, mouses and every beast of this kind. Has anyone who already did this tour could tell me if it's a real issue?

thanks

Lulub

Hi. I did ths tour in October 2012. This really wasn't a problem. I don't remember seeing any rats or mice. Have a great time.

Hi lulub,

I am leaving for China in two weeks, taking the Essential China trip starting the 14th April. I will keep a lookout for rodents of any kind and tell you about it once I get back from Asia in mid-May.

I didn't see anyone like this. I'm a frequent flyer and have to visit china every month for business proposes. I visit in lots of places in china but didn't see these kind of things.

I went on the Essential China tour in November last year, the only rodent I remember seeing was at the monastery (Emei Shan) but the monks have 20 cats to get rid off them! All other places you will stay at are good quality hotels which are unlikely to have a pest problem. Hope this helps :)
