India Visa price increase

Anyone else shocked by how much the India visa has gone up??

Not sure about other passports, but for brits, the price went up by £50 yesterday - that makes it over £90, the most expensive visa in the world!

I dont know about you, but that makes me somewhat more reluctant to go now - after the phaf with closing the tiger parks to tourists, and now the visa cost, it really seems India isnt so keen to welcome tourists anymore..what will they do next??
