Re: Delhi Hotel
Hi, I've been looking for cheap hotels in Delhi. Me and my family are going for a vacation next month. This could be a big help on my queries.

Re: Delhi Hotel
Hi Pat,
when I did the "Spiritual India" tour with G Adventures in November 2011 in Delhi we stayed in the Vishal Heritage Hotel in Karol Bagh. I spent an extra night there after my trip finished and so did almost everyone of my group who didn't fly out of Delhi the same day.
If you choose that hotel, you shouldn't expect too much, but I think it's very much ok and when I was there the hotel was worth the money we paid (I paid 2000 Indian rupees for the room for one night). WiFi is available in the lobby and in a very few rooms on the ground floor which are located next to the lobby.
We could have breakfast in the rooftop restaurant at an extra charge which was nothing special but enough to fill ones stomach.
The location of the hotel is also good, it's in a quiet alley but still centrally located and within walking distance to Karol Bagh Metro Station.
You should only be prepared, that several hotels in India in that price range don't have windows, but that's the same in Cambodia and Vietnam.
Enjoy your trip - are you going on your own or have you booked a tour?

Re: Delhi Hotel
Hotel Grand Park Inn is a good hotel. I have stayed there several times. The staff is helpful and the prices are reasonable. If you go to Tripadvisor.com they have reviews of all the hotels.
