Hiking boots Yes/No? Essential Vietnam and Cambodia 26TH Jan

Postby DMC75 » Sun Oct 21, 2012 7:28 am

Hi,

Heading out on the Essential Vietnam and Cambodia trip on the 26TH Jan and just wanted advice on whether or not to bring my hiking boots. They weight a lot so if i can get away without bringing them it will lighten my load big time.

Any advice people?

Cheers.

Just bring along a pair of trail runners. Leave the boots at home.

Thanks Kateyb,

Its hard to know when the travel guides say hiking boots a must, so i think i'll just wing it and take the lighter shoe option.

Cheers.

Did this trip in September and took my hiking boots... Don't think they came out of my bag except to lighten the load at the airport! Lightweight shoes will be fine.
