Gee my post seems to have disappeared which was posted this afternoon prior to the forum going down.
Talking about attaching lens caps to the camera. When I was in the Serengeti, I kept putting on my lens cap to keep the dust of my lens. As we were driving we came along some elephants. I jumped up to take some pics realizing of course that I had my cap on. I quickly tried to take it off only to see it fly into the grass...I had to talk the guide to get the driver to move the truck to the other side of the elephants so they could open the door to get my cap. I felt a little embarrassed...since the day prior my hat flew off my head into the grass as well lol
I might just look into glueing it on...
