Waterproof Camcorders / Video Cameras
The waterproof camera thread has some great information in it, and most of the P&S cameras like the Pentax and Olympus CAN take video...but I've recently seen some waterproof camcorders.
Curious to know if anyone has used any of these? The ones I've spotted so far are:
The Panasonic SDR-SW20S and the SANYO Xacti E1
Does anyone have one of these?

Re: Waterproof Camcorders / Video Cameras
for the occasional wet environment user who will do no more than snorkel there's aquapac bags. I used one in Ecuador/Galapagos. Now, I didn't take it snorkelling - just in case it didn't work, but others on the same trip and similar/equivalent bags that seemed to work. Some of these bags should be OK for movie cams...
The trouble with the waterproof cameras I looked at didn't have good zooms etc - too much of a compromise. And custom diving housings cost almost as much as the camera they are for and can't be used with any other device.
