AHDK - Delhi Kathmandu in Dec - Lenses??
Hi all,
This is my first G-adventure. I am a photography enthusiast, and trying to get a feeler on what lenses to take onthis trip. I got lots of lenses, but I only carry a subset according to the trip, due to weight and safty factors.
Any sugesstions on what to take and what not to will be appreciated.
I am thinking of taking the Nikon D700 full frame, 24-120mm f/4, 16-35mm f/4, 70-300mm.
Should I take the 70-200 f/2.8 which is heavy but amazing for street & people photography?
Then there is a Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 which gives amazing landscapes but too heavy, don't think I will carry it.
I will also take a very small tripod.
Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I have shot in this region before and would say go with the faster lenses regardless of weight.
the 24-70 and the 70-200.
this is a once is a lifetime opportunity so take advantage of using the best gear for the best results.
take lots of memory cards too.

Thanks a lot Paul. I think I will take your advice and take a separate camera bag with heavy lenses.
