HELP Typhoid Vaccinations for Cambodia??

Hi, I am travelling to Cambodia in a few weeks and wanted to confirm if I need to get the Typhoid Vaccination. Unfortunately, I can not find the vaccination any where...everyone has informed me its on back order. Please help, any suggesions?

I never got this vaccination when I went. Are you spending much time there and planning on living in the villages? If not, I would skip it.

Hopefully you have gotten your vaccine by now! but if not, ask your county or city Health Department. They usually have it. I found out it comes in a injectable as well as a 'live' vaccine that is taken in four capsule doses, one every other day. I read up on it, and the capsules seemed like more effective, less side effect and more readily availble. (and cheap!) Maybe you can check into the capsules.... good luck!
