Exchanging money in Europe

I'm travelling to Greece (and Europe for the first time) from Canada and I want to bring my Canadian money but other places I've been in the past I've always had US instead because it's more widely accepted. Is it better to bring US to exchange in Europe for a better rate? Or is it okay to bring Canadian money?

You will more than likely get a better rate from US currency than Canadian as it's desired more (undesired less?). However, bear in mind what you'll lose in the conversion from Canadian to US and figure out your total conversion rate.

Honestly, Greece has a plethora of ATM solutions so if you can, I'd suggest you bring an ATM card that will work there and just pull as you need euros. You will likely pay an ATM service charge (although some banks will reimburse that) but you'll probably get a better conversion rate AND not have to carry a huge wad of cash -- just don't pull from the ATM in small chunks or you'll pay that service charge many times.
