Locked backpack

Postby SueLavery » Mon Feb 15, 2010 7:59 pm

My backpack is one of those ones with no locking devices. I am going to India. Do I really need to lock it?

Hi

I think it's always a good idea to have a bag that is lockable. Is there some way of attaching one (or some depending how many openings on your bag) of those small padlocks to the ends of the zips on your bag? Even if you didn't have to worry about security, if your bag isn't locked there's always the chance that it may come open somehow in transit and spill the contents everywhere!

Hi it is one of those top loading with the drawstring. Pretty hard to try and do much with it. There is a flap overtop

I usually don't lock my pack...similar to yours, draw string with overhead flap. There are some side zippers, I do tie those together so they stay together.
