Is Durban worth it?

Postby coldpeppers » Mon Jun 10, 2013 12:50 pm

So I find myself being in a situation where I can spend 4 extra days in Durban before my G adventure starts. Would you say Durban is worth spending a few extra days in it?

That is a very subjective question and since I hail from Cape Town originally, its hard to be objectve, since that is undoubtedly the most beautiful city in the world - but Durban is pretty bustling and surrounded by options. Daytrips out of the city will take you to beautiful beaches, lovely countryside and its very close to some game parks. Enjoy!

There's a decent amount of city stuff to do in Durban as well. There's the beach and if you have a chance to take in a rugby game at the Shark Tank, it's well worth it.
