Sleeping bag for Kenya Tanzania Overland

Postby cndtraveler » Tue May 21, 2013 11:41 am

Hello,

I am going on the Kenya & Tanzania Overland in October and was wondering what type of sleeping bag would be sufficient. I'm thinking of getting a sleeping bag that is good to 0 degrees celsius. Would that be too hot? I'm from Canada so I am not used to warm nights haha.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you!

I don't think you'll have a problem with a 0 degree bag...it was cooler most nights than I was expecting. Worst case scenario, you can sleep on the bag and not in it, or bring a sleep sheet.

hi 0 degrees will be fine, it will be a bit colder at the Ngorongoro Crater, but G supplied us with extra blankets.
