Visa for Tanzania at Kenya border

Postby baga_azul » Fri Mar 29, 2013 5:57 am

Hi everyone,

I am entering Tanzania via Kenya. We travel overland on the road from Nairobi to Arusha. Do you know if it's possible and easy to get a visa for Tanzania at the border? We don't have any Tanzania consulate in our country.

Thanks!

We had no problem getting the visa at the border. Our group had Canadians and Australians.
Enjoy! Those are wonderful countries!

Hello!

This has nothing to do with visa's but I was just wondering what date you'll be leaving for your trip?
I'll be on a trip from Nairobi - Cape Town but it goes through where you'll be getting off. I was just curious to know whether it'll be the same trip we're on :)

Thanks,

Gilly, Scotland.

It was very easy! The border is a bit of a joke there really. Our Visas were all hand written which we all got a good laugh out of. Our group had no issues and we had Canadians, US, Sweeds, Ausies a kiwi and Germans.

Thanks to all for the info! The G-Adventure web site lists a very convoluted process for obtaining visas, so I'm glad that it is actually much easier in reality. :D
