Visas in the southern areas of Africa

Postby smyry52 » Fri Feb 17, 2012 8:09 pm

From what I can tell US citizens can get visas at the boarder for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Does anyone know if you need passport photos at any of these places to get the visas? I've been to some places that do and some that don't.

You don't need passport photos for any of these countries.

I dont think so but I always carry some just in case.
You need a US 50 dollar note at Zambia
And you need 2 clear blank pages in your passport for South Africa.

Thanks. That's what it sounded like from everything I had read, just wanted to double check.
