Best time for Tanzania
Hi All, Looking at 2 trips to Tanzania. One is end of May, other is beginning of Sept.
Which would be the best time to go? Both trips are very close in price, so that's not a factor.
Also yes or no on balloon ride while there?
Thanks for any sugestions!

Re: Best time for Tanzania
I went to Tanzania in early October and it was perfect. Someone asked our guide his opinion on when the best time to visit is, and he said September and October. He told us that one problem you run into from May-July is that the grass is really high on the Serengeti (because the rainy season has just ended) and so it's harder to spot animals. I did not do the balloon ride, but I wish I had. Two people in my group did it and said it was spectacular! They got some really great pictures too (the balloon lowers closer to the ground when they spot an animal, so you can hover right over it).
