Zambia Community Work & Safari-DZPJ Nov 20th 2011

Hello All,
My Husband and I are doing the Zambia Community Work and Safari Trip November 20th 2011 and would love some more information as we have never travelled to Africa before.

-What is the weather like Nov-Dec should we be prepared long periods of rain?

-We are traveling from Canada and we were told by our travel doctor we did not need to have a yellow fever shot if we were traveling to Zambia, Botswana and South Africa, is this true?

-What is the best bag to pack with? Do we have to carry our luggage a lot? Any weight requirements?

-We need to bring sleeping bags for our safari portion, is it cold at night for sleeping?

-Any tips or tricks or must pack items would be great help!!!!
