Check out the posts under "Asia" - you'll find some info on India.

I did the Unforgettable India in January 2006 and it was an incredible journey. I was pleasantly surprised at the accomodations, the local guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The people of India are incredible, resilient and oh so interesting, especially the children. Go with an open mind and you'll love it.
