Hello everybody:

I am from Lima-Peru but for the last 8 years I have been living in Canada, For all of you that are going to Peru and do the inca trail I can tell you that it will be an amaizing experience.

So your from Peru eh? i have just booked the Inca trail with Gap, but can't get any details on it from the people I booked it with STA travel (don't use them!)

I'm a bit worried how hard the climb up is (I'm a bit unfit!!) got any hints and tips I am also travelling round Ecuador and Galapacous.

Hello Luoise:

You don't need to be in excellent shape to do the inka trail, my best advice follow what the guide tells you and go on your own space, don't force yourself too much, the second day is the hardest and so try to get a good rest the first night.

There is a post under South America (in this forum) that has a lot of tips for the inka trail.
