Rookie traveller taking on Asia

Kia Orana!
Katrina here from NZ, just found out this morning I have been accepted for both of the voluntaring projects I enquired about. SO STOKED! I am heading to Cambodia for two weeks of teaching and then to Thailand for a week of adventure with elephants in April/May.
Just wondering if anyone is heading on either of these trips at this time or has been on them. Hoping I'm not a lone ranger
