Anyone doing Great South American Journey April 29th?

Hey everyone,
Doing great South American journey leaving London April 29th via Madrid, first stop Rio. Am sssoooo excited but also very nervous!!!Have done quite a bit of travelling but this is first solo trip. Would love to hear from anyone doing any part of this trip, or love to hear from you if getting flight (7.25am) from London April 29th. Trying to decide what to put in backpack that is essential so any ideas feel free to share .3 months of exploring such an amazing part of the world,its gonna be awesome!!!!
