I know that one other couple has booked this trip, and We (My wife and I) would like to know who they are, for the purpose of contacting them.

Hi b & p, welcome to the Watering Hole.
The best way I know of to meet up with your fellow travelers before the trip is to use the Departure Lounge here at the Watering Hole. Take a look in the September Departure Lounge to see if your fellow travelers are already looking for you there. If you don't see your trip listed, go ahead and add it so the others can find it.
