Hi there. Newly booked on the Amazon Riverboat Adventure leaving July 27th. If anyone has any tips, they'd be welcome. Very excited!

Was on the Amazon about a year ago .... very interesting.
Humidity is high, we had airconditioning in the cabins onboard. Keep your camera in a bag and keep it in the bathroom. IF it gets cooled down with the airconditioning and then exposed to the humid air outside you will get an extreme amount of condensation in your camera - not a good thing.

Lots to see on the Amazon. We went swimming, took a canoe ride, went fishing for piranha. Keep a look out for the pink dolphin - they are definitely there, but tough to get a picture unless you have a really fast camera.

IF you have a small pair of binoculars - you may want them too. There are sometimes birds or monkeys in the trees that you would like a closer look at.

Have fun!
